Joining the American Society for Microbiology Student Chapter of University of Rajshahi (ASMRU) connects you with a community passionate about microbiology. We offer two types of memberships: General Membership for current students and Life-long Membership for alumni.
General Membership
Eligibility:
Open to undergraduate students of the University of Rajshahi or any institution affiliated with the University of Rajshahi.
Steps to Become a General Member:
Pay the Membership Fee: The registration fee is BDT 100. Use Bkash "Send Money" to complete the payment.
Complete Registration: Click on "Join" button below and fill out the Google Form provided for general membership.
Submit Transaction ID: Enter the Bkash transaction ID in the registration form. This step is essential for verification.
Verification: Once your payment and transaction ID are confirmed, you will be added to our membership database.

Journal Discussion Community: We are launching a journal discussion community, where members can meet once a week (every Friday or Saturday) to discuss current journals, new advancements, and research findings. These sessions include 5-10 minute presentations where members can present recent topics of interest. This initiative helps to build presentation skills, develop a habit of reading research articles regularly, and enhance knowledge in cutting-edge research.
Contribute to Publications: Share your writings, articles, or creative work in our web magazine and blog, giving you the platform to showcase your knowledge and ideas.
Research Opportunities: As a member, you can apply to join our sister wing, the Bio-computational Research Laboratory, where you’ll have the opportunity to engage in research projects and gain hands-on experience in scientific research.
